Hi I m anarchist from Finland and I ve been thinking the need of developing and trying to find a libertarian ways to deal with addictions, and mental problems and how to deal with them.
As our goal is self-managed socierty , we must realise that there is need to develop libertarian ideas how to support people with mental problems or those who try to fight addictions making life intolerable! Obviously state and hierarchical society has not been able to do much good with these issues - which are not to be explained to be cause of capitalist and unhealthy hierarchical societys - as they are complex individual and mental issues to be dealt with in free soscietys as now and present in our own movement and scenes..
I hope to find people who would have some ideas about these things and maybe some aactual knowledge about the problems - maybe you have mental chanlanges yourself or you know someone who does - or you have struggle with drugs alcohol etc abuse or know a comrade with those problems etc. Or your been working among these healhtissuees on intitutions, hospital etc. Please contribute - lets start developing libertarian ways to deal with these issues !
